I am a third year intern student working under supervision. Before this position, I taught for over eight years, working with preschool kids up to 6th grade and I was a K-3rd school counselor in Jerome for one year. I am a mom of three athletic boys. My husband and I keep busy attending our boys’ athletic events and enjoying all the outdoor activities Idaho has to offer. We love to ski, backpack, camp, and travel with our family. We also have two fur babies. I so enjoy working with kids and have been trained in play and art therapy. I am eager to use my training to be a positive support to students, families, and staff at Rock Creek. My job as a school counselor is to work alongside teachers and parents to help students develop socially and emotionally, and to help remove any barriers they have to learning. I am looking forward to working with you and your children.

Hi, my name is Christie Angelo and I was born and raised in Southern California. My family and I moved to Idaho in 2021, and we love it!!! I have a wonderful husband and one terrific daughter named Cassidy. We have three dogs, Steeler, Sparky, and Chip who are also enjoying it here. I became in the year 2000 and have taught primarily K-3 with most of my years in 1st grade. It is my favorite grade to teach! When I’m not working I love to read, hang out with my family, travel, and explore. I’m looking forward to exploring more and more of Idaho.

Melissa has been teaching since 2008 in the Twin Falls School District. She has taught sixth grade, fourth grade, and now third grade. Melissa graduated from Idaho State University in Health Education and then went back to get her teaching degree. She loves to read and travel with her family.

Bedford is from Philadelphia, PA. He loves his hometown and all things Philly. Bedford is a sports fanatic, especially football and basketball, and loves watching old movies in his spare time. Bedford has worked in security positions for over 10 years. He started at Rock Creek in 2018. He loves building positive relationships with the Rock Creek students and feels his job is very rewarding. Bedford is married to Mrs. Brown, a 2nd grade teacher. He has 3 children and 2 adorable dogs.

Annette grew up in the Twin Falls School District, going home each night and pretending to be a teacher. She is so proud to now actually teach here. She has been teaching second grade since 2007.  Annette  graduated from Idaho State University with Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.  Several years later, she returned and completed her Master’s Degree in Human Resource Training and Development. Mrs. Brown enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with her family, and enjoys having several of those family members attend Rock Creek Elementary.

Hello my name is Carly O’Connor and I was born and raised in Southern California. In 2012 I moved to Twin Falls Idaho and began working towards a degree in education. I taught preschool for four years and then graduated with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in English. I have taught preschool, 3rd grade, and now Kindergarten! In my free time I love going on hikes and reading a good book. I love being a Rock Creek Raptor!

I grew up in Hailey, ID and moved to Twin Falls in 2018, when I married my husband. We have a beautiful daughter, named Alizae. I graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2019. Go Bengals! Before teaching 4th grade, I taught 3rd grade for two years. I am so glad to be living my dream of being a teacher since 2019! In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and going on bike rides. I am very excited to be a Rock Creek Raptor!

Mrs. Cates moved to Idaho in 2010. Before that, she lived in Los Angeles and worked in the education field and film industry. There, she met her husband David. She has 2 grown sons, David and Daniel.

Larissa Cheney graduated from Idaho State University with high honors with a degree in Elementary Education. She has lived in five states. She loves to collect things and dress up! She decided she wanted to be a teacher for sure in sixth grade and worked tirelessly at her dream until it became a reality. She has taught fourth grade and first grade.

Pauli Connelley graduated from College of Southern Idaho and Idaho State University with an Elementary Education Bachelor’s Degree. She has been teaching since 2006. Pauli has taught PE, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade. She has two children, Tayson and Trevyn.

I graduated from Wendell High School, and then attended Boise State University to obtain my Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice.  I eventually decided to go back to school, and earned my Master of Science through Walden University in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading & Literacy.  I have taught 4th and 5th grade. I live with my husband, Tyler, and my 4 boys; Trenten, Tyten, Treysen & Tate.  We have a beta fish named T.T.  We enjoy being active, playing sports, going on adventures, as well as just hanging out together as a family!

Hello my name is Kristie Corujo. I moved to Idaho in 2010. Before I moved to Idaho I owned a before and after school program. I am married and have 2 children. In college I studied Early Childhood Development. I love teaching children to learn new things. I am very excited to be part of Rock Creek.

Julie has been practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the past 8 years, before that she taught special education preschool for 3 years.
She has 7 kids, and loves to sew outside of work.

Julie Delia moved from Minnesota to Twin Falls to begin her teaching career in 1985.  She taught Title One Reading, 2nd grade, and 4th grade at Lincoln Elementary School.  When Oregon Trail Elementary School was built, she was part of the 1st year staff teaching 4th graders.  Eventually Julie transferred grade levels to teach 5th graders.  With the opening of Rock Creek Elementary School, Julie decided to make the move to another new school.  Ms. Delia enjoys going to work each day.  She loves the challenges and learning opportunities that go on each day in the classroom.  Her fellow Twin Falls teachers and administrators have inspired her to continually learn and try new teaching strategies.  Julie Delia is very thankful each day that she has an occupation that she enjoys and a school district that has challenged her to become a better educator.

Mrs. Dilworth grew up in Oviedo, Florida until she was 16 years old. She graduated high school from Carey, Idaho and received her Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences. Mrs. Dilworth has been married to her husband since 2018 and they have a Bernese Mountain Dog named Bosa. She has always had a strong passion to work with children and help them become lifelong learners and leaders. The most important thing to her is making a positive difference in a child’s day. Mrs. Dilworth has followed her dreams to become a First Grade Teacher, and is so excited for the many years of teaching to come. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Mrs. Dry (formerly Ms. Rush) is our music teacher here at Rock Creek Elementary. She graduated from Northern Arizona University with her B.S. in Elementary Education in 2003 and M.Ed. in 2008. She was recently remarried and has 5 kids, 3 cats, and an honorary goat. When she isn’t singing her heart out on stage or playing the ukulele and piano, she likes to bake cookies, watch musicals, be outside, and go shopping.

I have taught in the Twin Falls School District since 2004, and worked as a paraprofessional for the Filer School District for 15 years prior to that, while operating the family farm for 25 years with my wife and parents. Diana and I have two grown children, our daughter teaching high school in Central Oregon, and our son graduating law school to practice bankruptcy law in Arizona. Diana and I have almost always worked together, (Which some say is crazy!), I have enjoyed my time teaching, and really like it here at Rock Creek Elementary. Without a doubt, it is the best place to be!

I attended school at Boise State University. I started working for the Twin Falls School District in 2018 and specifically at Rock Creek Elementary in 2021. I was born and raised in Twin Falls, ID. I am married with 3 great kids!

Brigid Glasheen graduated from Western Governor’s University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She has worked for the Twin Falls School District since 2021. She is married with 2 amazing daughters, and a labradoodle, Lucy!

Kristi grew up in Sherwood, Oregon. She moved to Idaho in August 2012 to start her first teaching position, teaching first grade in Shoshone. In 2015, she went to Perrine Elementary and taught second and then third grade. In 2018, she had her daughter Lucy and now teaches half-time kindergarten, here at Rock Creek. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, doing projects around the house, crafting, and kayaking.

Ms. Honas graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Boise State University in 2009. She taught kindergarten at Lincoln Elementary for nine years. In 2015 Ms. Honas was named Teacher of the Year by the Twin Falls Education Foundation. She graduated with a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho in 2017. In her spare time she likes to travel, shop, and spend time with family and friends. She lives in Twin Falls with her two children, Jamison and Ryan, and two dogs. Ms. Honas’ favorite part of being the principal at Rock Creek Elementary is the interaction and relationships she has with the students. Go Raptors!

I am a true Twin Falls girl. I was born and raised in Twin. I went to elementary school at Morningside…go Mustangs! I graduated from Twin Falls High School in 2003. From there I attended to the College of Southern Idaho. After graduating from CSI, I was able to go to Idaho State University. I have been a teacher since 2010. My husband and I were married in 2005 and have two beautiful daughters. Our daughters are Hadley and Halle. We love to spend our free time on the water, swimming and kayaking.

My family and I live in Filer. My husband, Scott, and I have 5 children- Mckenzie (Kameron), Reese (Ashlee), Davis, Meili, and Lili along with several of our children’s pets. I recently became a grandma to the most beautiful little girl. In 1996, I graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Elementary Education. Currently, I am working on a master’s degree in literacy. I plan to be finished in May of 2023. My love is teaching struggling readers, as well as those who have a lot of experience reading, to find joy in reading and learning. I have completed LETRS Training, and am Orton-Gillingham trained – these both focus on providing an explicit, systematic, and multisensory education to students. I love yummy food and traveling, especially to the Bahamas, and often find myself dreaming of white sand and turquoise wate

Rochelle was born and raised in Jerome Idaho. She lived in California for a few years while her husband served in the Marine Corps. Rochelle attended college online and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education through University of Phoenix. She has been teaching since 2012. Rochelle married Chad in 2003. They have 3 children, Mekenna, Logan, and Kyra. When not teaching, Rochelle enjoys swimming/hot tubbing, hiking/walks, and reading.

Margie was born and raised in Twin Falls. She is married and has 3 children. Margie is an animal lover and has 4 dogs and 2 cats. Her favorite thing to do is kayak on the beautiful Snake River.

Sheri grew up in El Dorado Kansas.  She moved to Idaho in 1992 and graduated from Idaho State University in 1995 with a BA in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education.  She began teaching 1^st grade at Oregon Trail Elementary in 1995.  Since then she has been in several different states and in the Caribbean, each destination has generated new teaching experiences. 

Sheri has 2 daughters, Natasha and Natalie.  She loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys being outside doing pretty much anything during the spring and summer months.

Ms. McGuire was born and raised in Las Vegas, but recently moved to Twin Falls from the beautiful state of Colorado! She attended Southern Utah University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. Go T-Birds! She has been living her childhood wish of being a teacher since 2014! Outside of work you can find her working out, taking care of her new house, spending time with friends and family, hiking, or exploring the outdoors.

Katrina grew up in Maryland but came out west to attend college at Ricks College and Brigham Young University. She married an Idaho boy and wound up in Twin Falls. They have been married since 1995 and have 3 daughters. Katrina worked in the Filer School District for 16 years in various special education positions. She took the position of RCES K-5 special education resource teacher when the school opened in 2016. In her spare time she loves to be with her family and enjoys crosstitching Christmas ornaments and painting dot art.

KoLei was born in a small town, Downey Idaho, and grew up & graduated in Jerome. She married her high school sweetheart and has been happily married for 14 years. They have 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boy, 1 gold fish, 5 beta fish, and a bearded dragon. She grew up helping her mom with their in-home day care, was a nanny a couple of times, and worked in a couple daycares. When she had her first child, she decided to be at home while raising her children. She opened an in-home daycare for about 6 years. KoLei took the position as Rock Creek Librarian when the doors opened in 2016. She has always loved helping children learn and grow.

Tiffannie has been teaching since 2017. She has taught second grade, third grade, and kindergarten. Tiffannie graduated from Eastern Oregon University with a BA in Spanish. She went back to get her teaching certificate. Tiffannie continued her education through the University of Idaho by obtaining her Masters in Curriculum & Instruction and will have her Specialist soon. She loves being with her husband and two little girls.

Miss Rieth graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Multnomah University. She’s been teaching since 2014 and has loved every minute of it! She treasures all of her students and the bond that is formed with every new class.

Andrew Stark was born and raised in Idaho. He graduated from Wood River High School and then continued his education at the University of Idaho (Go Vandals!), where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. He and his wife, Monze, lived and worked in Moscow at the U of I before moving to Massachusetts for a short while. They moved back to Twin Falls to be closer to family and friends. They have one son named Eli. In his free time, Mr. Stark enjoys video games, board games, and just about anything related to technology. When it’s warm outside, Mr. Stark loves playing outdoors — camping, swimming, or hiking.

I have a Master’s in Criminal Justice and am currently working on a second master’s degree.

The Twin Falls School District has been home to my family for generations. My grandfather was a teacher at TFHS, my dad was a graduate from TFHS and I am a 1988 graduate of Twin Falls High School. I attended CSI for two years and then transferred to Boise State University. I got married and moved to Wichita Falls, Texas where I did my student teaching. I started teaching in 1993. My first job was teaching kindergarten for a gifted and talented private school. After 2 years my husband was transferred to Mountain Home Air Force Base. I taught 3rd grade at West Elementary in Mountain Home. We then moved back home to Twin Falls. I worked at Oregon Trail Elementary for 20 years before transferring to Rock Creek Elementary School. I have 3 children who have all graduated from Twin Falls High School.

Mrs. Victor graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She has been teaching for 21 years. She started her career in the West Ada School District and has taught in the Twin Falls School District these last two years. She has taught second grade the majority of her career. Rock Creek Elementary is now her home here in Twin Falls and she is grateful to be a part of a student centered and community oriented school.

Frogs just might be her favorite animal, as her classroom seems to have been taken over by the little green critters….inanimate ones of course!

Andrew is from Twin Falls Idaho and spent time living in parts of Paraguay and Argentina. He graduated from Canyon Ridge High School in 2017. He is concurrently attending school at the College of Southern Idaho while working at Rock Creek Elementary. Andrew has an enormous amount of patience to be able to do his job as well as he does. He is also incredibly humble.

My name is Meliha Zahirovic. I was born in Bosnia (Europe) and moved to Twin Falls, Idaho in 2001. I always enjoyed working with children, especially elementary age. In college I studied Early Childhood Education and Competed many classes in Elementary Education. I began teaching in 2006. I worked as an ELL Paraeducator, helped with the after school program, taught preschool at CSI, was a substitute teacher for a year and now I am the computer lab assistant. I am married and have two kids. My son is 12 years old and my daughter is 8. I have one small dog named Smoki. I enjoy exploring beautiful Idaho and traveling the world with my family.
