Rock Creek kicked off the new school year with a fun-filled Meet the Teacher Night! After dropping off supplies and meeting their teachers, students and families enjoyed music and popsicles on the playground. A huge thank you to PTO extraordinaire Clarissa Seamons for creating amazing balloon towers to welcome each grade level, and to Sergeant Shawn Applewhite for joining us and helping our school community feel safe, supported, and welcome. #thanksforchoosingrockcreek

School starts on Thursday! If you are wondering about drop-off and pick-up procedures, please refer to this information from the Rock Creek Parent Reader.

Rock Creek Pick-Up and Drop-Off Procedures

We have nearly 600 students at our school, and safety is our highest priority. Please take a moment to carefully review the pick-up and drop-off guidelines designed to keep both students and staff safe.
To ensure the safety of all students and keep traffic flowing smoothly, please follow these important procedures:

Pull forward as far as possible in the drop-off/pick-up lane. If a staff member signals you to move forward, please follow their direction.

Always use the crosswalk for your safety and to model safe behavior for students.

Do not let students exit from the left lane. This is unsafe.

The side parking lot and bus lane are for buses only. Do not use this area for drop-off or pick-up.

Be respectful and courteous to others during busy times. Our children are watching!

Only park in handicap spaces if you have a valid permit. These spaces are reserved for those who truly need them.

Never leave your vehicle unattended in the drop-off lane.

Parents must remain outside the gate. You're welcome to wait behind the fence and observe, but please do not enter the playground.

If someone else is dropping off or picking up your child, please share these procedures with them.

Thank you for your cooperation! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the school administration.

Dear TFSD Families,

This is a quick reminder to submit your Bus Service Registration form for the upcoming school year.

Our transportation team is already hard at work analyzing data to create the most effective routes for our community. If your student will need a bus seat this fall, we need your information in our system to include them in the route planning. If you have already filled out the form for the 226-27 school year, you are all set!

Deadline to register: July 31

Note: Late registrations may result in longer wait times or overcrowded buses.

Thank you for your prompt response!

School's out but it's time to register for bus services for the 2026-27 school year.

Dear TFSD Families,

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we need your help to understand where students will be riding the bus to school. Today, we are officially opening the Bus Service Registration for the 2026-2027 school year.

Why this matters: We design our bus routes every year based on the families who sign up. Even if your child rode the bus last year, you must fill out this form so we can accurately map stops and keep ride times as short as possible.

Deadline to register: July 31

👉 Click Here to Register for Bus Service

If you plan to drive your student, carpool, or if they will walk, you do not need to complete the form. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school community moving efficiently.
