The Twin Falls School District is thrilled to celebrate Emersyn Hanks, a fifth-grade student at Rock Creek Elementary, who was named a winner in the Idaho Department of Education’s 2024 Holiday Card Contest.

Emersyn’s painting won the K-6 division of the statewide competition. Her artwork will be featured on the Idaho Department of Education’s official holiday card this season. In addition, Emersyn will receive a set of cards showcasing her design for personal use.

“This contest highlights the incredible talent of Idaho’s young artists, and we are so proud of Emersyn for representing our school and district so beautifully,” said Rock Creek Elementary Principal Lisa Gebbie. “Her creativity and skill truly shine in this festive design.”

The annual contest invites students from across Idaho to submit winter-themed artwork, with winners selected from two age categories: K-6 and 7-12. The competition also recognizes grade-level winners for each grade, celebrating students’ artistic achievements statewide.

Congratulations, Emersyn, on this well-deserved recognition!
