Fourth grade students enjoyed celebrating Pioneer Day with hands-on activities that brought history to life. They spent the day outdoors learning about the daily life and skills of Idaho's early settlers. The following Monday, students explored one of Idaho's natural treasures - the Star Garnet. They learned about its unique characteristics and even got to take one home as a special keepsake!
